Divided into two areas, the right hand gallery is dedicated to the church:
Hot-irons for ironing the sacred robes, torch-stands, religious calendars, Matracas & Carracas (rattles) used in Easter Week, Holy Water Vessel & Sprinkler, storage chest of religious images, and the choirs´ lectern.
One gallery in the house´s bedroom displays prams, a folding bed, period night-shirts, braziers, shovels, and chamber pots. The central display is the kitchen with wooden clogs, fireplace hearth, frying pan trivets, Pistero jar, wooden washing board, bellows, dustpan, curling tongs, lanterns, charcoal braziers, coffee mills, spice chests and cooking pots.
Finally, a wash-house (benches, tongs for curling hair, & irons), one of the lanterns or lamps, and a display of clay pots, containers or baskets (wine and oil casks and measures)
The left hand gallery, covers the skills and crafts of our ancestors. It displays farm-work tools, with rakes, forks, shovels andZoquetas. Includes the complicated tasks from the complex history of Ribera del Duero winemaking with barrels, hides, ladders, flagons, and pruning shears.
Due to its location in Hontoria de Valdearados, there is a room dedicated to Resin, with collecting pots, handles, sharpening stones, and tiles; a Weaving Area, with spinning wheels, wool carders, balls of twine and cord. A section is dedicated to farm animals, with milking stools, horseshoes, scythes, saddlery. A final room for craft skills such as the carpenter’s combo or the strap to make cheese.
