Neo-classical in style, with beautiful gardens and an impressive fountain, it would make a perfect setting for films, but its true mission is to make Ribera del Duero DO wines in the town of Anguix, Burgos.
Just 28 Km from Aranda de Duero, the house has been naturally integrated into the Winery and the Hotel / Restaurant since 2002. Winemaking takes place in a room that provides views of the vineyards, a large open space with natural light, wooden ceiling, 2,700 Barrels and capacity for 4,000 Casks. Every 365 days they produce around 250,000 Litres.
Between 'La Horra' and 'Anguix', comprising 95 Hectares. Of these, 76 are 'Tinta del País' trained on trellises using the bilateral cordon system.
A fruity wine with the oak making its presence felt, it is a true reflection of the Ribera flavour. In very special years they make Áster Reserva (24 months in Barrel): a delicate wine, with an exquisite subtle taste.
