Langa’s Tower receives tourism. It was used for protection and was a very important tool in the battles between Muslims and Christians. The Duke of Medinasidonia was imprisoned there, but escaped with a rope borrowed from the residents of the village.
The village has wineries that produce wine of Designation of Origin Ribera del Duero. It has the important Valdeviñas Winery which produces wine for Spain and The USA. However, in contrast to many villages of the Ribera del Duero region, it has a remarkable industrial sector: a PVC window company, a cogeneration energy plant, construction companies, a sawmill, an industrial vehicle cleaner and building material companies.
