Certain examples of stately homes that adorn coats of arms and that are of ashlar masonry stand out in the civil architecture of the village, many of them from the XVIII century have a double origin: some of them belonged to families of the gentry and others were home to different chaplains of the parish.
The church of the village, dated between the XV and XVII centuries, has changed a lot throughout the course of time. Its current construction was finished in 1962, following the plans of a monk from the Valbuena de Duero monastery.
Santa Catalina’s altarpiece was donated by a man with the surname Ordóñez and his wife towards the end of the XVI century, as is shown by the inscription. It also has a beautiful baptismal font, drawings, sculptures, polychrome images of Juan de Juni, vestments like the Cristo del Carmelo and goldsmithing. The organ also stands out, a piece of great musical and ornamental interest.
The Concepción chapel completes the religious heritage of the village. The Cooperativa Comarcal San Mamés Winery was founded in 1964, since then it has been one of the biggest wineries in the Ribera del Duero region.
