Bodegas Comenge was founded in 1999 by Jaime Comenge, and is located in Curiel de Duero (Valladolid). It was named in honour of D. Miguel Comenge Gerpe, writer of the book 'La Vid y los vinos españoles' (a reference work for every vine scholar) and the founder’s father.

Wineries Protos, 24-28, Peñafiel

The First Ribera del Duero DO Winery

Protos means 'FIRST' in Greek. Founded in1927, it has known how to mature and maintain its fame over time.

It belongs to the owners of Bodegas Fernández de Piérola whose wine-producing experience in the Rioja Alavesa provides support. They erected a building in Valcavado de Roa that is Eco-efficient and completely Environment-friendly. 100 % of its heating needs are covered thanks to Geothermal Energy.

Los Lagares, 71, Sotillo de la Ribera

A genuine wine cathedral. The Underground Cellar measuring 1,200 square metres is incredible. 

Road Soria. National 122, Km 322, Quintanilla de Onésimo

Having blended into the natural countryside for several centuries already, the Finca Villacreces and its vineyards are now part of the Ribera del Duero Woods. Spread over an area of 110 Hectares, 64 belong to their vines.

Road Valladolid / Soria. Km 325'6, Quintanilla de Onésimo

It originated in 1986 in the Valladolid town of Quintanilla de Onésimo. Twenty years later and it had positioned its brand name as a benchmark in the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin.
