Presentación

This prestigious museum is one of the most visited in Castilla y León. One reason maybe its location, in Peñafiel castle. Since 1999 it has integrated wine-making into rural tourism.

As the name suggests, it’s a journey through the world of wine: Production methods, how it´s made, tasting rooms to sample superb wines from Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin, as well as introductory wine tasting courses.

Free bus transfer from car park to castle on specific dates to make the climb easier.

From 1st April – 30th September from Tuesday to Sunday & public holidays: 11.00-14.30 & 16.30-20.30 Closed Mondays.
From 1st October-31st March, Tuesday-Sunday & Public Holidays 11.30-14.00 & 16.00-19.00 Closed Mondays.
Also closed 24th, 25th, 31st December & 1st, 6th January.

*The last guided tour of the castle is 45 minutes before closing.
