Here it´s possible for us to learn about people´s daily lives and customs in the early 20th century. Actors play the old inhabitants, Mariano and Tomasa, interacting with visitors.

Well-known in Peñafiel, La Casa de la Ribera is 15 years old. Nonetheless the building dates back to the 16th century. Quite unlike any other ethnographic museum, the “Telón de Azucar” theatre company, University of Valladolid, and Peñafiel town council have made it an outstanding museum experience.
